www.donnalucrezia.com è un "vecchio sito" dedicato da tanti anni al ricamo anzi, al bel ricamo. Ora si ripropone a voi in una veste nuova, speriamo più agile e di più semplice consultazione.  Ne rimangono comunque le caratteristiche principali, ovvero

• le tante proposte attraverso immagini fotografiche (galleria "immagini") di arredi ricamati con le tecniche di sempre del bel ricamo italiano, magari rivisitate e filtrate attraverso il gusto moderno e l'uso di materiali oggi più facilmente reperibili e proponibili. Sono lavori eseguiti da me e dalle mie allieve, ricami sui quali potete richiedere spiegazioni e, al caso, materiali e disegni.
• i libri e le dispense che via via nel tempo ho pubblicato (galleria "libri e dispense") e che, spero, aumenteranno nel tempo sempre più: i progetti sono tanti ma il tempo per dedicarvisi sempre molto limitato (sono una nonna!). Accanto a questa ecco, grande novità davvero, una galleria speciale in cui trovare tutte le dispense tradotte in inglese: per ora sono otto ma spero di poter inserire anche i due ultimi titoli, ovvero la dispensa sui retini di fondo e quella sulle sfilature legate.
• progetti in omaggio: non più, o almeno non solo, disegni per ricami da stampare gratuitamente, ma veri e propri progetti con foto e schede di esecuzione.
• infine questo sito vuole continuare ad essere un punto di incontro con le tante amiche come me innamorate del mondo del ricamo e del merletto. Quindi continuate pure, se credete, a mandarmi e-mail o a chiamarmi telefonicamente per parlare dei vostri ricami, dei problemi e delle soluzioni tecniche e non che li riguardano, di progetti nuovi e vecchi, di libri, di tecniche e punti.  www.donnalucrezia.com is an “old site” which has been dedicated to embroidery for many years, more precisely, to beautiful embroidery. Now newly redesigned and, we hope, more clear for easier consultation. 

Nevertheless the main features remain, such as:

• many projects through photographic images (gallery: “images”) of furnishings embroidered with the ever beautiful Italian embroidery techniques revisited and perhaps filtered through a modern taste and the use of materials more readily available today. They are works executed by myself and my students; embroideries for which you can request instructions and, in some cases, materials and designs.

• Books and didactic booklets which I have published over the years (gallery: “books and publications”) and which I hope will continue to grow in numbers: there are many projects but the time for dedicating myself to them is always very limited (I’m a grandmother!). Alongside this is great news indeed, a special gallery in which you’ll find the didactic booklets which are translated into English: for now there are eight but I hope to include the two latest titles very soon, namely those on Filling Stitches and ‘tied’ Drawn-Thread Work.

• Free Projects: no more, or at least not only, free embroidery designs to be printed, but real and proper projects with photos and instructions.

• Finally, this website will continue to be a meeting place for the many friends who love as I do, the world of embroidery and lace. Therefore, keep sending me e-mails or phone me to discuss your embroideries, difficulties and technical solutions and take a look again at new and old projects, books, techniques and stitches. Call me for information about the embroideries pictured in the gallery or about books and didactic booklets .......... I await you!
